     These codes are used on the Datsun list. People preface their subject 
     with <240> for example. I'd say their is a 90% use rate/ Could work 
     here too.

This is a very good idea, but would require not only a "code system" in 
appropriately titled messages, but would require folks to use the 
codes......  how likely?
     
i, like you, only actually read a small portion of the total message 
traffic.
