Apparently, according to Joe Curry, the TWM throttle bodies ARE, or will be
available in 1-1/2 inch units, good news for Spitfire owners looking for a
performance upgrade, basically a bolt on mod. When you consider that it
will cost at least $500 plus for a (new) Weber downdraft system and $700+
for a sidedraft, at $1000 to $1200 seams a little steep, but it should be a
big improvement in performance, reliability, and mileage if done correctly
- Hummmm, will have to get ALL the details before I plunk down the cash!!
Sounds interesting maybe one could approach $700 if one did a lot of the
work (wiring harness, sensors and fittings)ones self, and just purchased
the TBI and computer??
