Scionissimos, My ´74 TR6 is undergoing a rebuild. It's non-O/D at present but I'm going to fix that. I'd like to put on the A-type because you get O/D on 2nd gear. However, I know the A-type is far more expensive and scarce than the J-type. On the other hand, I've heard that in theory, an overdrive unit can work on all gears. Can the J-type be converted to function reliably on 2nd? Thanks in advance, Adam Turner (for car, see above) |
