A wise old gentleman, who had been in the business, once stressed to me the importance of replacing the trim in the windshield gasket. Apparently, it acts as a "key", locking the gasket in the window frame by expanding the gasket with a non-compressable material. According to him, with time or high speeds you could end up with a windshield on your lap! Evidently, it is there for a reason. I replaced mine!!! Keith Freeouf 69 TR6 |
