Hi all,
UPS strike has given me extra time to play :(. Has anyone got any
experience with the Moss shock conversion kit for a TR6. I recently
purchased a kit from Moss which replaces the rear lever shocks with Koni's.
It involves some drilling and and indicates that the maximum tire size is
185/70/15. Now that I look at it i'm not so sure I wan't to go through
with it.

Bill,

I installed the Roadster Factory kit which has three pieces and transfers
the
forces directly to the frame (as opposed to the "cheaper" kits which bolt
up just to the inner fender) and if I had it to do all over again I would
get a good pair of lever shocks! The improvement over the lever models
doesn't warrant the time and trouble to install the conversions. BTW I
plan to go to Winona (of course I also planned to go to Ft Worth but that
is another story) and I will let you test drive mine if it will help you
make your decision.

BTW I just bought some 205/70 tires for the car and there is no rubbing
problem. Nor was there one with the 205/60's I had on there before.
