The shows the same, we're at Eastwood MetroPark for the second year and the
price has been reduced. British Car Day '97, presented by the Miami Valley
Triumphs and the MG Car Club, SW Ohio Centre, has now joined forces with the
Five Rivers MetroParks to present the 13th annual British Car Day at Eastwood
MetroPark.
The format of the show remains the same, with popular vote awards presented to
the winners in the 21 different marques. The number of awards presented will be
based on the numbers of cars in that marque. All entrants will receive dash
plaques, the vendors will be on hand with parts and memorabilia, and the
concession stand will also be open. Collector T-shirts will also be available.
Last year's show drew 165 cars from Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky.
Eastwood MetroPark is easily accessible by following Rte 4 east off of I-75 in
Dayton, and then taking the Harshman Rd exit. The huge park offers a canoe
lagoon, playground area for the kids, and a beautiful tree lined field where
the cars will be displayed. All cars will be displayed by marque on the grass
field.
Eastwood MetroPark is also located just a mile from the US Air Force Museum,
which is the largest display of military aircraft in the world.
