This story has been going around for years now, and it just won't stop.
The little boy with cancer never existed, and the Make a Wish Foundation
is being inundated with cards by well meaning but misled people. I
actually sent a card about 5 years ago, and therafter received a card
from Make a Wish informing me of the facts.
