Matt,
I'm somewhat behind you on my quest to do a frame off restoration of
my '58 TR3. My body is about ready to come off the frame. I have
completely stripped the body of every part except the rear fenders and
may pull them this weekend.
My next step is to clean up and paint the frame and third member,
clean the brake lines, etc., and replace the exhaust system. Then I
don't know what to do next??? take the body on a trailer to a paint
shop for strip and prime only? Let them finish coat the inside of
everything? Or should I drop the dirty ugly body on the clean frame
for the body shop to mask and clean after the body is painted???
Any advice from you and/or the list???
Let me hear from anyone with advice, especially from anyone with
experience!!!
