Phil Smith rose an interesting question...how many Triumphs do
you REGULARLY see on the road?

Living in La Jolla (San Diego, California), other than my red (ex-carmine :()
74 TR6, I see a white '75 TR6, BRG '70 TR6, '74 orange Spitfire,
metallic-blue TR250, off-white TR250 w/surry top, and a red TR3B,
late-60s carmine MGBGT, all on a fairly regular basis (at least once,
maybe twice a month). There is also a red TR7 roadster and champagne
TR8 roadster that a see a couple of times per year. We also have a
"local media personality" who gets around in a pale-yellow RHD 1800
roadster, and I see him nearly everyday!

Of course I get to see "Rags" nearly every day!

Other LBCs include an early 70s blue Jensen-Healy, and a number
of MGs and XKE Jags under tarps in garages (never seen them on the
road, tho').

Other than Rolls Royces and modern Jags, Triumphs are perhaps the most
popular British car on our streets.  Yeah, its a snobby 'hood;
Porsches outnumber Beetles 10:1!

        Shane Ingate, cant get enough LBCs in San Diego
