Politics may be verboten on the list, but Mr. Storm is not just elucidating
about politics, but the Kind Treatment of classic cars by the former
conservative government. This does concern us...all of us from the U.K. to
the Federal Republic of California. The UK has led the world in progressive
legislation for protecting our hobby to include free yearly registration for
cars 25+ years old and fighting the EU (continuing the use of leaded petrol
and fighting silly environmental schemes that would completely remove our
cars from the roads). On the other hand, the new government will sympathise
more with the EU and there could be repercussions that will doom our hobby
as we know it to satisfy Olaf the Lofty and the Rest. Selah.
