     Subject: '73 TR-6 Vac lines/Disappearing oil


The vacuum lines on my '73 TR-6 bypass the radiator coolant hose inline 
valve.  They now go directly from the rear carb to the distributor 
vacuum advance.  It works fine.

My problem is disappearing oil.  I am using about a quart 
every hundred miles.  There is no vast cloud of blue 
smoke and the  underside of the car is not covered in oil. 
So where is it going?
