Morning all, >>You mean you understood my crappy explaination??? :-) >Sure did. But my new question is this: What is the BEST clutch brand to >install? The one that failed worst was a Quintin Hazel. Is LUK any better? > I specified Borg and Beck last time, and am having some trouble again. The first that clutch that died on me was an unknown, 8 quid for the complete kit from a car boot sale brand, so I suppose I was asking for trouble, the second was a Borg & Beck. Now I have a B&B pressure plate, the car boot sale thrust bearing and a Laycock friction plate!!! Seems to work OK, although the pedal is a bit sharp!!! Rich |
