Until very recently (or maybe still) a dealer in Tyson Corners,
     Virginia had one each TR-6, MG-B, XKE and I think a Spitfire...all
new...all for sale! They were asking 30K for the TR-6 and 60K for the
     XKE...(Not being an MG person <rather push my TR-6, etc) I don't
     remember the price on it).

I looked the TR-6 over closely...fewer than 15 miles at that time,
untitled and pretty clean looking car...tho, there was evidence (as
might be expected) of corrosion on the battery cables, some minor
paint damage in the engine compartment, and some not so obvious
     deterioration in rubber parts.

Probably (like the car mentioned by John Duhart) also needed work on
carbs and hydraulics...I guess, for half the money, I'd as soon have a
nice restoration...but I'm not much into the show car thing...I just
     want to drive, drive, drive...................

Besides, as soon as you buy and drive off the lot, it becomes, low
miles not with standing, like all the rest, a used TR-6!

     Cheers!

Hey Bruce,

I'm very confused. First what is FHC? Second, are you telling me their
are dealers out there that have Triumphs from over 15 years ago that have
never left the showroom floor. How is this possible?

Later,
