I just installed a TRF clutch in my 76 which has always had
clutch problems. The pedal always felt "grainy" and didn't disengage
properly. Difficulty getting in 1st at times, reverse scratched.

Clutch/Pressure plate are Borg & Beck from TRF.

Needed all these parts:

1. clutch, pressure plate
2. throw-out bearing pre-pressed on sleeve
3. new "snout", old one was grooved/cut
4. new front seal (in "snout")
5. gaskets for "snout" and small 2 bolt cover
6. new cross-shaft, old one was scapped removing pin
7. new cross-shaft bearings
8. new fork pin - old one broken
9. new fork - old pins worn (its possible to just do the pins)

Needless to say, it works MUCH better, I'd recommend 1,2,4,5,8, and 9
for all clutch jobs. You only want to do this once!
