On July 2nd I submitted a question to this list about my Ignition light
staying on after the key was turned off and removed.  I received some good
quick advice from a variety of sources that it was probably something in my
alternator.  Below is one of those responses which I followed up on.   They
had the right alternator, sent it quickly, advised my on installation, and I
was back on the road in a week.  Good work that deserves sharing.

The problem is inside of you alternator, a short in the diodes.
