I am a bit confused by all the discussion of Transmission lubrication. What is the reason? My Owners pamplet list ordinary gear lube. It seems so simple to just put in a good grade of 80W-90 gear lube. I am running (or soon to be) in Sothern California where the temp is never cold. ???????
