R. Kyle Schmidt asked about the rear (Plexi) windows in his Spitfire
top cracking and turning brown.

Boy, Kyle, did you ask a good question. I wish I had an answer, good or
otherwise. All I can offer is that we have usually stored our Spit with
the top (hood) folded and covered with the vinyl hood stick cover ("boot"
here in the US). We also always have the car covered with a good, but
not great, (read: expensive) car cover. We've had very good luck with the
plexi staying clear and supple. I have no idea why. We live on the outskirts
of a fairly large city and Vicki used to live in North New Jersey, quite
near New York City. The car is indoors, but the space is not heated.

Any of you materials experts out there have any ideas?
This is cross posted to SOL so we can tap into the the wisdom of the "big"
list.
