Jay,
Which rear disk kit did you use?
My old Tiger had Dale's kit with the old Fiat 124 calipers.  No problem
with clearance.. but now unobtanium (and for Tiger).

My clearance from the rubber stopper to the slightly concave metal stop is
just about  22.2mm (or the outside of a
Craftsman 5/8in (1/2inch) chrome socket..   what I found I could stuff in
there to measure the clearance.
Like I said, my Tiger is stock old MK1 with ground down rubber spring
buffer pads (by Paul Reisentz).  So it sits a
little low... like I like it.  Running old Spax shocks from SS, set like
Rick told me, I think about 1/2 way (soft to firm)., never
noticed it bottoming.
