Bob. I just happen to have one on a dresser in my living room (remodeling n=
ever seems to get completed). The part IMS originally came from a mid 60s E=
conoline Ford Van & the part number on the item is F4UE6884BA. The F4 sugge=
st a much later part year. I ordered this one from a Ford dealer some years=
back. This same question was recently ask on the TIGER portion of Facebook=
and in response several smaller filters one might use were also listed. Si=
nce you can rotate the direction the filter points I would think you will h=
ave no problem with most sets of headers but there are many designs startin=
g back in the 60s and CAT always made design improvements with each new ord=
er the placed. For the purist the OEM oil filter worked great on my early=
=C2=A0 =C2=A01A Tigers but when they started to leak it seemed to never sto=
