Tiger Parts List
Carb controls =E2=80=93 Section DF
1224891 Spring =E2=80=93 Accelerator return
1224854 Bracket =E2=80=93 Accelerator spring anchorage =
Mk I
1229919 Bracket =E2=80=93 accelerator spring anchorage =
Mk II
These parts all have Rootes part numbers.
=20
Gary your bracket should be the 1224854 part. Again, note that the Mk =
II part has a different part #.
This seems to indicate the Mk II bracket is different somehow.

Any of you have this bracket on your Tiger engine?
=20
I do not have a clear picture of this bracket so I cropped a couple of =
pictures to show most of it.
=20
Bob Mannel=E2=80=99s book has a couple of pictures =E2=80=93 pg. 2-23 =
and 5-21 =E2=80=93 pg. 5-21 also shows a picture of the 1965 bracket =
which might be on the Mk II engine.
=20
There is a picture of it in TBON under the front valve cover bolt on pg. =
148. I also have a fuzzy picture of this bracket mounted under the =
intake manifold bolt with the spring attached.
=20
Here=E2=80=99s some trivia for you =E2=80=93 this bracket C2OZ-9741-B is =
listed in the Parts List =E2=80=93 Section CF =E2=80=93 note the 2nd =
part # for the Mk II
Carb =E2=80=93 Section CF
6100458 C2OZ-9741-B Bracket =E2=80=93 accelerator =
return spring Mk I
6100910 Bracket =E2=80=93 =
accelerator return spring Mk II
=20
This bracket could be anywhere on your engine =E2=80=93 I have 1 picture =
where it is just a spare part on the engine.
