agreed....fairly public info. Oklahoma insurance companies can quote you
directly from VIN as well...for newer cars at least. I often request VIN when
making inquiries on old cars off the net, like ebay or craiglist to decode and
make sure its not a MkII or a Shelby mustang that has been repainted or
whatever....
