The threads on the center stud of my windshield are damaged. I can tighten
the nut so far, but then it slips. A friend suggested I rethread with a
slightly smaller metric size. Any better ideas? I already tried coating it
with JB Weld and rethreading, but that wasn't strong enough to hold any
pressure. Thanks.
