I'm sure Rick at Sunbeam Specialties could tell you.
It seems to me that Tiger Tom stated that the originals had a poor steel
frame in them that just rusted away but I could be mistaken.
The parts SS sells for the visors are made of stainless steel.

My car does not have them, and it has been a problem occasionally driving
into the sun. So I was contemplating a new set from Sunbeam Specialties.
Any good reason for their relative scarcity?
