I recall a recent post on this subject from "Dr. Moonstone" (Sean
Ford). I recall, maybe wrongly, that the color has little to do with
the thermal performance of a recommended "Ceramic" coating his company
provides (at a discount to Tiger owners). It is the low thermal
conductivity of the coating, rather than the color, in this type of coating.
