quick ques - i just received a new heater valve (mark 1a style), but noticed when the valve is in the wide open position, the internal rubber stopper (the actual internal rubber plug component that blocks the coolant flow) only appears to open enough to clear half the internal channel or flow path ... does anyone have a spare valve around to check if this is the way these are designed, or may i have received a defective one? in upstate new york, i want to be sure my heater works at full capability! thanks, peter |
