Temperature Sender

When I rebuilt my engine last summer I also replaced the temp sender.  I now
believe it to be incorrect for the Tiger.  I saw a posting on Tigers United
that says the Autometer 2254 temp sender will work with the jaeger gauges
and is the correct voltage.  Can anyone verify this, and or suggest a
replacement temp sender?
