Oil Filter Adapter

Since this thread is on the run maybe someone could enlighten me about my
adapter. I Pick A Parted it a few years ago and I believe I got it off a late
70's, early 80's V-8 Ford Van. The part number is E5TE-6884-BA. It appears to
be more of a 45% adapter, but the final angle seems relative to exactly where
you locate it on the 45% canted block. Has anyone ever used this adapter?
