Clear hooter horns

Does anybody know the correct color for the original clear hooter horns?  I
think Norm's book mentions "black" but at car shows I've noticed Triumphs
with the same looking horn but not in black.  I think I saw blue and red.
Never noticed the originals on a Tiger at any shows.... I know, that's cause
they broke long ago.
