Mine was red, too. But, I got 10 years and two owners after it left the factory. As I recall, it did not look like a factory paint job. I used everythng from chem strippers to a torch to get back to bare metal, and I don't recall what colors may have been underneath. I then primed and painted it a nice Nissan silver off the Duplicolor rack. Almost matches the Hammertone color. Stu  |
