Chris,

You are a VERY observant guy! My wiper arms are both 12&1/4" long measured 
between the extreme ends. There are 15 (about) degree bends near the blade 
ends to get the blade oriented horizontal in the rest position. I doubt 
that the 3/8" or 1/2" difference will matter much, but it shouldn't be too 
hard to come up with some genuine Alpine wiper arms from Smitty or?
