Since Ole always hated funerals, but LOVED a good party, his daughter Leslie
asked me to let all of you know that there will be a memorial party for Ole
sometime after things settle down for the family.
She'll let us know where and when.
Phone calls would be a burden for Joan right now, but sympathy cards and notes
would be most appreciated:

According to Leslie, Ole's health had been failing due to the cancer he was
fighting, and the related chemotherapy. Apparently it had gotten into his
lymphatic system. The doctors think he suffered a heart attack last Thursday,
but didn't realize it until Joan noticed him behaving strangely on Friday. He
was hospitalized then, and medicated to reduce the pain. He knew it was time
to go, and had a chance to say Goodbye to his family before he passed away
Sunday morning.
