What Kemp did say: "Look, we ought to go after the [cars] that pollute."

My gut reaction was to defend the automobile, which always seems to be the
villain (as opposed to heavy industries, lawn mowers, etc). In this case,
however, I'll concede your point that the classic car enthusiast is probably
better off with Kemp than Gore.
