Hi Ron,
50 years of racing at RA is quite an accomplishment. I forgive them a little
hyperbole given the financial uncertainty they face.
In that 50 years nothing like this has ever happened. The June Sprint
events I spectated in the early 70's had large fields. 60 plus cars would line
up for the G,H production race for example, with no startline mishaps. We're a
little spoiled as spectators and competitors. Visit a few of the other big
name tracks in North America
and you get an appreciation for just how special a place RA is.
Whatever BS it takes to promote this track is ok by me.
