Fellow Thickos
We were wondering if anyone has ever drilled out or otherwise ventilated
(on purpose) the rear drum brake backing plates on thier Spridget for heat
dissipation. If so...how,where? Did you get any positive results except for a
place for the oil leaks from the rear oil seals to go? I was thinking about
it while i was rebuilding the rear cylinders. The rear brakes actually
started working before they disintegrated and cooked the rear cylinders at
Gingerman.
