A local racer here in Arl. Hts, IL has organized a block party in the form
of a car show at Highland and Willow aves. in Arl. Hts on Sat. July
15...the street will be closed off...from 10AM on. Dan races S2000, but
has a flat bottom Atlantic (Trueman's first one) and some other race
cars...all are invited with interesting or semi-interesting vehicles. His
name is Dan Tinley...call for more details at 847 259 1254...
The flyer I have says bring your own lawn chairs and liquor...he will start
serving some food after noon..non-alcoholic drinks provided. Cars and
motorcycles and scooters welcome. Trophies for best in show, best street
car and people's choice.
