On this Saturday, NBC will televise live a unique race at 4 PM EST. Check

Created as a stand-alone racing series based on the world famous 24 Hours of
LeMans, the American LeMans Series provides exciting wheel-to-wheel racing by
some of the most famous sports car marques in the world. This race is being
held at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC bringing factory teams from
Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Daimler Chrysler, Ferrari and Porsche to compete on the
2.25 mile road course. The racing will include the afternoon feature with
prototype and GTP cars racing, preceded by several races including the
Women's Global GT Series.
The Carolinas Austin-Healey Club will gather in a reserved area and be seated
as a group. The details of the race and coordination with the Austin-Healey
Club was done by Dick Lunney, current President of that club.
