Well, you've shamed me into telling what I've been working on. Spilling the
beans, so to speak. It's just too humbling to have those Sprites passing my
Triumph, so I've installed:

1. Variable valve timing on my TR4 -- adapting the mechanism from a Honda Civic

2. Coil-over electronic ignition -- coil for each plugs, with coils hidden
under the dashboard

3. To trigger the electronics for the new ignition, I have to crank fire it --
so that called for significant rework of the flywheel

4. Fuel injection. The electronics are easy to hide, but had to build an air
box around where the S.U.'s were to hide the rest of the stuff

5. Eight link rear suspension. Those vintage tech guys will never find it.

Hey, this thing has 2.2 liters and puts out 130 hp on a good day. My street BMW
has a 2.5 engine which puts out 190 hp and even idles. To heck with this
vintage stuff. Give me horsepower!!!!!

TR4 -- Y2K compliant
TR6 -- still old fashioned
