Yes, it is I, your Flounder, crawling back into the sunlight, weasel that I
am.
Things are going better professionally. Personally, things are still not
right, as Jane and I are at a "rocky" point in our relationship. Suffice it
to say, that the last 12 months have not been some of my favorites.
I am making attempts at attending and racing at IRP (Judy... please fax an
entry to (847) 623-0053. Thanks to World Wide in Madison, WI, I may even
race with shocks that hold oil more than 1 lap. Move over you blocking
Triumph guysMake way Gary Speckman, you "cheatin' dog". Jim Donato, I'll
forgive your cheatin' ways if you bring the meatballs. I look forward to
seeing many of the Midwest Team Thicko race folks there.
To my racing comrades in Australia at the upcoming Bathurst event...safety
fast my friends. I apologize for my lack of communication, and heartily
appreciate the invite.
To all that requested them, Team Thicko stickers hit the mail... including
requests from Australia, the UK, Porsche and Corvette owners. (Basically,
anyone bright enough to include their address.)
Congratulations to Jim "Elmo Mancini" Donato on winning the coveted "Geoff
Healey Sportsmanship Award" at the VSCDA Fall Festival at Road America.
There's not a nicer guy on the planet than Jim.
