Disconnect the out put side of the fuel pump and pull the starter button
with the ignition off.  If it is pumping fuel, reconnect then move up the
line. Do you have a fuel filter between the pump and the carbs?  Might be
plugged up.  If the filter seems clean then move up to the carbs.  As
mentioned before, you might have crud in the float bowl.  You might have a
float that has partially sunk due to a hole and filling with fuel.  If all
that is OK, then it's the ignition system.  Install new points, condenser
and rotor.  How old are the spark plug wires?  Might be time to install a
Pertronix unit.  Good luck.
