As a 356 owner & driver, for the past 48 years, I have to say that it looks
pretty solid, overall and is much more intact & unmolested than most. Of
course, photos can be misleading, but I'd estimate the value in the $15,000
to $20,000 range. The current, $41,000 bid should get one a VERY nice 356A
coupe. Something smells funny, to me, about the bidding on this one.
But, like they say: a fool and his money are soon parted.

Can anyone explain the bidding on this POrSche (note the caps) 356A? I'd
wear a bag over my head if I was driving it down the street. I know "barn
finds" are hot now and there's a trend to drive them as found. I'd prefer
to think of a barn find as a base for a nice restoration instead of an end
in itself.
