The Miata was born from the black hole in the roadster market created
when the European car makers stopped making roadsters.
They are getting close to 1 million produced.  They combine classic
roadster qualities with reliability that was somewhat lacking in
previous roadsters.
They carry on the economical roadster spirit started by the Sprite.
