You will see that California has raised its gasoline tax from 7 cents a gallon
to 18 cents.  But California still has the highest cost for damage caused by
potholes etc.  The legislature, you see, raids that road tax money to fund
their favorite boondoggles.  Any other questions why California is teetering
on the brink of bankruptcy?
