I worked on Lancasters, Mosquitoes and other 'relics' when I was in the RAF...
But they were nearing the tail-end (no pun intended) of their service life!
Also on Vulcan's, Valiant's, Canberra's, Hudsons, DC3 & DC2's, Shackletons, 
etc.. the advantage of being Airborne Avionics qualified <Grin>
Anyone remember the "Gannet"?
Now *those* were the days....   sigh!
