[Spridgets] Re A (sad) tale of ethanol??

I believe one of the main reasons for putting alcohol in gas to start with
was to replace MTPE as an oxygenate for pollution reduction. The MPTE or
what ever it was, was a carcinogen with a long life that was being found in
well water!!!
As for me, I'd rather drink ALCOHOL!!!
