Thanks for all the replies. I took loose the two bolts holding the dizzy
clamp to remove it (real PIA) and knew there had to be a better way.

Get a 2nd dizzy, fit, adjust to suit. Mark body position, remove.
Get 1st dizzy, fit, adjust to suit. Drive 'till it goes.
I really don't see that it will take much longer to fit a set of points in
situ - unless your back is like mine <smile!> If it is which case points =
agony.
