Daniel is correct re 'proper' race cars , but the 'Queens' Highway code
does
allow , roundels , numbers and anything else on the paintwork or
bumpers of
your car as long as it is not racist, offensive or covers /
alters your
registration plate (number plates).
so Pseudo race cars that will never race
are allowed to look like race
cars on the road .
However a race car
turning up for a race so liveried after driving on
the Queens highway will
be prevented from racing by the scrutineers .
Alan of Warwick UK
whose frogeye has roundels and headlamp stone guards fitted by its
previous
owner and it is regularly driven on the road with no ill
effect !
