Well are you going to tell us what the engine is for?
Will not be cheap to ship.

Subject: [Spridgets] engine shipping
I know this has been talked about before but its been a while and
things change.
I need to figure out how to ship a motor and tranny from Stroud,
Gloucestershire to S. Calif. I am looking at buying a running
motor/gearbox to put into my car (its not Spridget related), the seller
initially was not willing to help with crating and shipping but now is
saying he will help but I am not sure how much he is willing to help.
It would be nice if I could help from this end with information.
Also any guess on the cost ? The 2 items are separated right now,
could be shipping in one box or 2. Its a 4cyl. 972cc motor with all
its ancillaries attached and one gearbox, no guess on the actual weight,
I have never one of these motors in person, my motor was in bits and
pieces (lots of pieces, like the crank was in 2 pieces, the block was in
3 pieces).
Wifey, is not happy, I spent a LOT of money putting a 1098cc motor
together for this car and its not even run yet and after 14 years of
looking I finally found a motor. I am also torn because the Spridget
motor would allow me to drive this car anywhere/anytime and not worry
about breakage but with the original motor I would drive it more
sparingly I think but originality is a plus for me.
