As Jim pointed out, this is a typical symptom of the rear brake shoes not being close enough to the drum. In fact, many of the replacement shoes on the market seem to run out of adjuster before they get to the drum. You should be able to get a slight drag between shoe and drum. At that point, the dreaded double-pump should go away (until you get enough wear to bring it back. David L |
