At least, ( I hope) it was quick, Typical of Frank he got things done today,
just like the way he restored Frogeyes

didnt waste time prolonging things.

Just like his new found motor for his vintage bike. Found it, fitted it,
rode it. If he had left it til tomorrow like we might do..

I had every intention of visiting Frank sometime in NJ, but likewise it was
a something to do tomorrow thing.

Frank stayed at my home in the UK with Buster Evans. A photo and write up is
on JustBrits MG people page .

The words below are slightly modified from the web page but I include them
as my condolence to the Clarici family and to the AH Sprite fraternity in
the USA,

Frank will be sadly missed and never replaced.

First Paul now Frank .makes you think doesnt it .

*Franks and Busters visit to the UK*

* *

*We had enough time for a quick cup of tea then we took them to Leicester
(pronounced Lester not Lye-cess- terrr !) to watch our rugby team play the
London Wasps in the A teams final. It rained, both enjoyed the mans game
and Frank was impressed by the motto No Pads, No Helmets, Just Balls !! He
said it was probably the most intense hour and half of non stop physical
ball game that he had ever seen. *

* *

*We stopped on the way home for some traditional Fish and chips served in
paper and eaten in the car at the side of the road, (although Buster and
Frank also had a Cornish Pasty and Frank ate a battered sausage - he wants
more. During the days they were at my house they had visited AH spares at
Southam and the records office and library at the BMHT at Gaydon and of
course Warwick castle ( " like man, its a thousand years old! ")*

* *

*We visited Donald Healeys favourite pub, The Cape of good Hope adjacent
to the demolished Cape works. They had their obligatory photo taken next to
the AHCA plaque in the bar. We had a typical English pub meal and Frank had
a couple of pints of Twollocks beer specially brewed for the pub (2 locks,
named after the 2 canal locks next to the pub)*

* *

*Frank couldn't get over the variety of beers, real beers, and said that he
had only good pints all the time he had been here..*
