Other than the obvious, one is steel and one is aluminum, is there a difference between the cast iron pump and the aluminum? Does one provide better cooling than the other as in move more water? The pumps are the same for all the motors aren't they? Any way to test the pump before installation? Have an NOS cast iron one and was wondering about its reliability versus a brand new modern built replacement pump from VB Thanks Leo |
